The ob<x>jectives of this course are to introduce the application of certain necessary principles of engineering and science that are required for any quantitative treatment of environmental problems. The basic, traditional materials on water supply, wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and solid and hazardous waste management will be covered. Some of the major environmental problems of the day will be presented as well.
